DinkiBelle Nail Wraps - Review

I recently got the chance to try out some nail wraps from a lovely new brand I've never tried before,  DinkiBelle. Everybody loves a good review, so I thought I'd write one for these!

I chose this lovely marble design, which you can get a hold of here. Having recently attempted doing a free hand marble effect nail design and failing miserably, I thought these would be the perfect alternative, and they most certainly were.

Nail-shape nightmare?

Can't decide what is the perfect nail shape for you? Or thinking of changing your current shape? It's a decision all us nail junkies go through at some point. In fact, quite regularly if you're anything like me!

This post will hopefully shed some light on it all; from what each shape means and how easy they are to create and maintain.

OPI Nail Envy Hawaiian Orchid - Review

If you haven't ever experienced the wonders that the original OPI Nail Envy does to your nails, then you are missing out. I've never found a base coat that even comes close to it!

Recently, I discovered that OPI's fantastic nail strengthener also comes in a few tinted shades - who knew! So I just had to try it out.

I picked it up in the form of this duo in a Mother's Day promotion on opi.com, two for one...bargain.

Onto the good stuff.....SWATCH!...

REVIEW! Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Pen

I received a Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Pen in my December Nailbox. Having not done a review post for a while (or any post for that matter) I though't I'd share my thoughts of this product with you all!

Lightening Bolt nails with NailVinyls™

Once again I’ve found myself shying away from a freehand design! Yikes!

But I feel it's ok because quality is never compromised when using these Nail Vinyls™by Teismom.

If you haven't heard of Nail Vinyls before. They are basically pre-cut stickers that you place over your nail, paint over it, then pull it off to reveal sharp, crisp edges. And they are SO easy to use. If you get the chance to pick some up, I would definitely recommend them.

I chose to go with 2 bright colours and a metallic . I'm really trying hard to get my nail shape right at the moment. Can you tell I'm struggling with my middle finger? It just seems a lot fatter than all the others (so annoying). If anyone has any shaping tips then do let me know!

Anyway I hope you like this mani, and thanks for reading.

Snakeskin inspired nails!

As part of Bonprix's blogger competition, I've decided to do some snakeskin style nails!

With party season just around the corner (yay!) the idea was to create some nail art inspired by one of their dresses. I chose this Animal Wrap dress because I've not done many animal print nails before and thought it would be the perfect combination for a glam night out with the girls.

I used Barry M's black and white polishes to stamp a design over a gun grey base. I then topped off with some studs for that extra edgy look. And I'm really pleased with how they've turned out!

Let me know what you think ladies, and feel free to join in on the competition, just use the #partypolished on twitter and follow the rules on the competition page.

Happy nail painting!
